Introduction to the Museum

I could not think of a logical way of listing the computers. They could be listed by manufacturer but that would represent a lot of menu options. They could be listed chronologically (since the first computer was made in 1978 and the last in 1989) but that was not altogether pleasing as it missed the way each company had improved their products. In the end, I thought it might be more interesting to do it by manufacturer for companies with a large number of variants, by location (US, Far East) for others. For the vast number of British manufacturers, these I have listed chronologically though with links to the other pages where appropriate.

It will be obvious that a greater number of computers are from the UK, because lots were in that era. Most still work perfectly despite being up to 30 years old.
